The Lavender Festival in Cyprus

The scent of mountain lavender spreads all over Troodos mountains and in particular in the area of Platres village where the Lavender Festival is hosted.
The annual lavender festival is a great opportunity to discover the beauties of the village, to gaze at the amazing architecture of the houses, as well as the majestic pine forest, but also an opportunity to get acquainted with the lavender traditions.
Visitors will have the opportunity to attend workshops and seminars about the healing properties of Lavender.On Sunday a large lavender market, featuring 25+ exhibitors, provides everything you can imagine being made of lavender from lavender producers in Cyprus and herbalists with live distillation and other activities.
