MAPPAE
The European Route on MAPs
Launched by the Council of Europe in 1987, the Cultural Routes demonstrate, by means of a journey through space and time, how the heritage of the different countries and cultures of Europe contributes to a shared and living cultural heritage. In 2019 the Cultural Routes amount to 38. With MAPPAE we want to build a new European Route entirely dedicated to Medicinal and Aromatic Plants and Herbs.
6 Countries
We aim to diversify and increase the visibility of European transnational tourism offer by creating a thematic multisensory tourist and cultural Route that connects destinations across 6 European countries: France, Italy, Malta, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Cyprus.
12 Itineraries
We have designed 12 itineraries to enjoy the universe of aromatic herbs and scents revolving around sensory experiences, all conceived as journeys of emotions to provide real and meaningful connections with people, places, culture, food and heritage.
