One day dedicated to olive
Olive Day is celebrated at the magnificent Olive Park “Oleastro” in Anogyra. Entrance is free and the program includes Demonstration & Tasting, Traditional & Modern Bakery / Confectionery by MIEEK and making traditional products, Tasting of Olive Oil and Presentation of Wines, Traditional Products and Exhibition, Traditional music and dance with folklore groups, traditional games, souvenirs, food and drink. Visitors can see exhibits and representations of the Island’ History and culture as well as on the importance of olive oil in health and beauty, the ‘olive in art’ painting exhibition and film on olive and olive oil in Cyprus. A wide range of activities is also available for children.
